Municipio realizó la mejora en de los ambientes del Auki Uta (Casa del Anciano), ubicada en Villa Dolores “F” del Distrito 3, informó la directora de Asuntos Generacionales, Karina Carvajal.

La obra beneficia a más de 800 adultos mayores de diferentes asociaciones. Se trata del primer Auki Uta modelo para el adulto mayor que va a contar con un comedor piloto, un equipo multidisciplinario que trabajará en las áreas de psicología, trabajo social, asesoría legal, trabajo en salud mental y física.

“Tenemos aproximadamente 20 Auki Utas, donde los adultos mayores son estimulados a realizar diferentes actividades. En esta oportunidad estamos entregando alimentos que han sido gestionados ante el Ministerio de Salud y Deportes”, afirmó Flores.

Medio centenar de abuelitos y abuelitas, reunidos en este centro, en un acto sencillo pero lleno de cariño, recibieron la dotación compuesta por bolsas de quinua, avena, fideo, arroz, azúcar, leche, cocoa, yogur, entre otros.
